Congratulations
to everyone who played on Arts #1 this term. We did better than I had ever
expected and we should all be proud that we held the top of the standings
for the entire length of the regular season.
I really
enjoyed meeting all of you this year. It is great to find a group of
people who enjoy such an awesome sport. Thanks for an awesome
season!
So what is
up with QP? I guess Comis will let us know when he gets back from Ottawa
and then we can arrange a team bash over there.
To
everyone, good luck with your courses and final exams, just incase I
forget to tell you at the QP. Sometimes alcohol does funny things... I
think that everyone understands the occasional alcohol induced
forgetfulness.
Anyways, it
has been a blast! Best of luck to everyone for the rest of the term. Hope
you all have an amazing summer and to see you back here in the fall.
Cheers,
Tim

Game Highlights:
March 18,
2002 proved to be the end of an era for your heroes of Arts #1. Last
night's game against the Big O was exciting and well fought. Both teams
showed off a great offense but later the game play turned to
"cheese-ball".
Arts #1
hung in there right until nearly the end of the first game when they were
down only 19 - 21. The Big O went on to take that game and held their
momentum through to second game.
Arts #1
tried to dig themselves out of their hole but to no avail. The Big O
stepped up their defense and were solid on their offense, leaving Arts #1
scrambling for the ball. In the end, the Big O took the win in the second
game and ultimately knocked Arts #1 out of the playoffs.
Good luck
to all of the teams that are still surviving in the playoffs! Just someone
please take out Frosh Feast! No back to back wins are allowed! |
